About Me
I've had an interest in wildlife and the natural world for as long as I can remember. My main passion has always been birds but I have developed a keen interest in insects - butterflies & moths, damsel and dragonflies, hoverflies - and wildflowers. I consider myself to be a strictly amateur photographer - watching wildlife comes first and if I then have the opportunity for photographs then all the better!
The majority of my photography is done in Scotland but I have been lucky enough to travel to places such as The Gambia, France, Spain, Canada and the US watching wildlife.
I live in the Cairngorms National Park in the Scottish Highlands and work as a guide for Heatherlea Birdwatching Holidays.
